Lights. Action. The Australian Smart Lighting Summit 2015: 8th-9th September
The who’s who of lighting will gather again for the third Annual Australian Smart Lighting Summit 2015 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 8th and 9th September 2015.
As always, the line-up is strong with representatives from lighting suppliers, manufacturers, roads authorities, councils, state government and distribution businesses.
This year’s speakers include Victorian Minister for Energy and Resources, The Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio, City of Melbourne’s Ian Dryden, Ironbark’s Paul Brown and CEO or the Lighting Council Australia, Bryan Douglas.
The local government presence is stronger than it has ever been with presentations from councils on Lighting the Regions, Watts Working Better and the Great South Coast Street Smart Lighting Programs. These three projects alone represent the changing over of 44,000 street lights.
There’ll also be presentations from City of the Sydney and the Goldfields Voluntary Regional Organisation of Councils (GVROC).
Any council wishing to find out how these councils managed to break down the traditional street lighting barriers and implement massive energy efficiency projects should come and hear what these presenters have to say.
The Summit is clearly the premier platform for councils and industry stakeholders to discuss strategies to improve energy efficiency, upcoming project opportunities, new technology, and regulations impacting the sector. The 2015 event will be a “meeting of the minds” offering highly valuable networking opportunities with all the key players of Australia’s lighting scene.
Ironbark Sustainability are again the official knowledge partners of the summit and are thrilled to be working with conference organisers Expotrade again.
