Ironbark Submission into Feed-in-Tariffs and Distributed Generation Inquiry

March 2012

The Victorian Competition and Efficiency Commission held an inquiry into Feed-in Tariffs and Barriers to Distributed Generation in 2011 and 2012.

Ironbark has undertaken extensive research and conducted interviews with industry specialists to determine the best way to increase the uptake of distributed generation.

Taking into account best-practice models internationally, we advocated for a feed-in-tariff that was gross (instead of "net") to increase the development of renewable energy, new job creation in the most effective, low-cost and equitable way.
