Ironbark is seeking part-time staff with project management, building auditing and administration/project support experience to assist with energy efficiency projects. We have a number of projects currently underway and the prediction of more to come.

Project Management

Project managing energy efficient street lighting changeovers. This involves working with a range of stakeholders including councils (as clients), distribution businesses, installation contractors and suppliers to ensure projects run according to set time, quality and budget criteria. There’s at least 3 days a week of work available at the moment and it could increase from there and include more varied project management. We’re seeking people with at least 3-5 years experience in project management, ideally using the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) framework. The majority of these projects are in metropolitan Melbourne. Hourly rate of $45-50/hour (casual / neg) depending on experience. 

Building Auditing

Building energy audits. This involves the ability to undertake level 2 building audits for council facilities throughout Victoria and Australia. This work is likely to be more casual in nature at the start but is growing. We’re seeking someone with at least 3 years building auditing experience. Hourly rate of $40-45/hour (casual / neg) depending on experience.

Administration and Project Support

Administration/Project Support. This involves general office support for the entire Ironbark team including maintenance of Ironbark systems and processes (for example, CRM, website, marketing), scheduling meetings, HR and IT support, communications and office management and also supporting project managers and Ironbark’s council clients through the process of implementing energy efficient projects. Good knowledge of MS Excel a must. Marketing experience advantageous. Hourly rate of around $30/hour (casual) depending on experience.
