Sharing Tools

Ironbark is passionate about sharing information on how to get great work done.  By being open about how we do things, everyone learns faster, and we get the results we all want sooner. 

Software is often an integral part of sustainability project delivery.  How we do things, and the software tools we develop, are closely intertwined.  It no longer makes sense to share how we do things if we don't also share the tools we use to do them.

Ironbark is a Foundation Member of Openwollemi, a not-for-profit organisation established to assist people to collaborate in the development of software tools for the benefit of sustainability projects.

Ironbark developed a software tool to assist in the sustainability assessment of local government buildings.  Ironbark gifted this tool to Openwollemi, and it has since been released as an open source web-based application called "Engeneous".

Openwollemi now facilitates the on-going development of Engeneous with financial and administrative support from Ironbark.
