About us

Ironbark Sustainability brings together decades of experience in the public lighting, sustainable facilities management and information management sectors. We work with a wide range of government and corporate clients to improve efficiency and the management of sustainability outcomes. At Ironbark we pride ourselves on working with our clients to create real action on the challenges of climate change.

Your personal information

Personal information held by us may include your name, date of birth, current and previous addresses, telephone or mobile phone number, email address, bank account or credit card details, occupation, driver's licence number and any Ironbark PIN, username or password. We also hold details of your Ironbark services (including their status), as well as certain details about your personal interests.

If you choose not to provide certain personal information (e.g. your date of birth), we may not be able to provide you with the services you require, or the level of service on which we pride ourselves.

Occasionally, you may need to provide personal information about other individuals to us (e.g. about your authorised representatives). If so, we rely on you to inform those individuals that you are providing their personal information to us and to advise them that we can be contacted for further information (see 'How to contact us' at the end of this brochure).

How we collect personal information

We collect personal information in a number of ways, including:

 

  • directly from you, for example, when you provide information by phone, in application forms or other agreements, or when you submit your personal details through our websites;

  • installation, maintenance and repair services;

  • marketing, telemarketing and door-knocking services;

We take reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.

  • your authorised representatives or your legal advisers (e.g. when requested by you to do so);

    • although Ironbark has taken care to ensure that the Website provides accurate information about your accounts, the Website may not be error free. For that reason you:

      • acknowledge and agree that neither Ironbark nor its directors or employees or any associated party are liable for any mistake in the information provided in the Website; 

      • agree that you will not rely on the information provided on the Website when making decisions; and

      • agree to indemnify Ironbark, its associated parties and any of their directors, officers, employees, consultants and associates from and against all actions, claims, suits, demands, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses arising from or relating to your access of the Website.

The undersigned party (the “Receiving Party”) understands that the nature of their relationship with Ironbark Group Pty. Ltd. (the “Disclosing Party”) will entail the disclosure of Proprietary Information relating to third party businesses by Ironbark. Information will include, but is not limited to, technical drawings, prototypes, end-user products, methodologies, processes, ideas, inventions, schematics, customer and product development plans, forecasts and strategies.

In consideration of any access of the Receiving Party to Proprietary Information of third party businesses imparted by the Disclosing Party, the Receiving Party hereby agrees as follows:

1.    The Receiving Party agrees (i) to hold the Proprietary Information imparted by the Disclosing Party in confidence and to take reasonable precautions to protect such Proprietary Information, (ii) not to divulge any such Proprietary Information or any information derived there-from to any third person, (iii) not to copy or reverse engineer any such Proprietary Information, and (iv) not to export any such Proprietary Information or product thereof.

2.    Immediately upon request by either the Disclosing Party or the third party owners of the Proprietary Information, the Receiving Party will turn over all Proprietary Information and any and all copies or extracts thereof.
